You’re sure to find plenty of answers to the “masterpiece” question in this sweeping exhibition of art treasures from the Musée du Louvre in Paris.
xxxxThis show gives perspective on how the definition of a “masterpiece,” as well as taste and connoisseurship, have changed over time. Spanning 4,000 years, it features 91 works of art drawn from all eight of the Louvre’s collection areas, including paintings, sculpture, decorative arts, drawings and more.
